How many grain-correct folio sheets can you cut from a parent sheet?
The final fold must run parallel to the paper grain.
Origin (purchased) sheet
Long grain: fibres run parallel to the longer edge.
Short grain: parallel to the shorter edge. “Doesn’t matter”
permits rotated pieces (e.g. handmade paper with no dominant grain).
